2022 Science Park High School Recipient: Luo Xu

Hello, my name is Luo Xu. I am the recipient of the Science Park High School Scholarship. My parents and I moved here in February of 2012 all the way across the world from China to America. These past 10 years have been quite a journey of growth and self realization. I am very thankful for this scholarship that is awarded to me from all of you and Dr. Komal, the award will be used to support me in my next journey of going to college. I am going to be a student at Stevens Institute of Technology, majoring in Computer Science. I hope to be able to help people in the future with my degree and create something wonderful!

2022 NJIT Recipient: Swetansh Mate

Hello, my name is Shwetansh Mangesh Mate. I am a Masters of Engineering Management student at NJIT. It meant a lot to be the first in my family to leave India when I came to the US to study in Spring 2021. Not knowing anyone in a new country was a difficult experience, but it was eased by making new friends and connections. This scholarship means a lot to me as it was awarded for Leadership and Equity, which I always strive to exemplify and to help others.
